Yuchanne ゆうしゃんぬ

During my initial trip to Provence, located in the southern region of France, I experienced a sense of both excitement and relaxation. The charming historic streets and churches, along with the beautiful deep blue sky and the friendly locals conversing in the café, all seemed to transport me to a different world, which thrilled me. At the same time, the unhurried pace of life made me feel at ease and comfortable. As someone who comes from a bustling city like Tokyo, this change of pace may have initially felt overwhelming.

There is a saying in France called "Art de Vivre" which represents a way of life for the French people. They find joy in the simple things of life.

I use my art to share joyful moments with my loved ones, beautiful scenes, and delicious food and wine. This brings me happiness, and I hope to share that feeling with you too.

物語に出てくるようなプロヴァンスに魅了され、プロヴァンスへの憧れをテーマにペンと水彩で描く。
観光名所ではなく、何気ない建物や住宅地を中心に描くことが多く、特に窓やドアの造形やその付近に必ず置いてある植物が好き。

うさぎとぱんだのキャラクター「うさぱん」は自由の象徴であり、作者の分身でもある。
プロヴァンスを訪れたい作者に代わり、プロヴァンスでのんびりきままに生活をしている。
